Anacondas: The Hunt for the Blood Orchid (2004) IMDB rating: 4.10 Plot: In New York, the ambitious Dr. Jack Byron and his associate Gordon Mitchell present the research of his assistant Sam Rogers to the CEO and board of directors of a corporation to sponsor a scientific expedition to Borneo. Why am I so HORRIBLE in relationships?
I’ve never been good at relationships. I’m 29 years old. I seem to always pick the wrong woman and attempt to have long term relationships with them. I complain to my friends and family how badly I’m being treated in the relationship. But then I end up cheating on them with the woman that’s really good for me. I’m living with a woman with 5 children by 4 different men. She lives in the projects. She always has a stank attitude. We do nothing but argue all the time. I moved in with after a month of knowing her since I didn’t have enough resources to find a place to stay. Plus my family doesn’t want anything to do with me. I don’t have a car as well. I fell on hard times due to the economy. Anyway, I’ve been cheating on her for the past 8 months with this beautiful woman. I love her so much. I want to be a better man because of her. Not only is she beautiful but she’s smart, extremely funny, caring (she does volunteer work), and with a touch of sassiness. When I’m around her I never want to leave her side. I would love to stay with her, but unfortunately she staying with her sick grandmother. She also said she wouldn’t want me to live with her until I got my sh!t together. I don’t want to break this woman’s heart because I really do love her. But what can I do?

Here in the UK you can get therapy free through your GP…not sure how it works in the US.

NUMBER ONE issue you need to deal with is your image and perception of yourself.

Work everyday on maintaining a positive outlook on yourself and your life, achieving the things you want, and making yourself happy, whilst being a positive influence on the world.

One quick tip I can give you is to start every day and end everyday by not repeating the story above…but instead by changing this story to a positive version. Make it 3 or 4 sentences long. A quick example could be "I am great in relationships because I am a great person. I attract the right kind of woman and when she arrives, I am faithful and work hard to make it work. I am successful and happy and have everything together"

Anytime you try and think of the stuff you mentioned in the question above, try telling yourself that story I just wrote…remember your mind can’t tell the difference between imagination and reality so make the "story" as real as you can be really imagining what it would be like to build that life, and it’ll slowly start to happen!

I would love to cuss you out becos you’ve been an asshole and you need to stop doing that but I ain’t. Your family abandoned you when you needed them the most and when you meet a good woman, you treat her because you’ve expected to leave you (like your family did) also because you feel you didn’t deserve good things in life but you DO. I believe that you are a good deep down and you need to change for yourself, not becos of her otherwise, if things don’t go well with your good woman, you’ll be back in the vicious cycle again.

Counseling isn’t for everybody and it may not be your cup of tea but I would suggest you to try it. Also, try to be kind to yourself a little everyday like do something nice for yourself. Look at your current girlfriend (volunteer worker, the one you love?) what have you learnt from her? Whatever you’ve learnt from her, do the same thing for yourself. Try to get a job, any job, that would raise your self esteem up. Get rid of the skank as you’ve called her!

I want to be an author/college professor/book editor/publisher. This means I need to learn a lot about LA. So, here are the two summaries. If anyone has any title ideas, please give me some ideas. I have no ideas whatsoever.

Story 1

A cheerleader, Phoenix Smith, is very successful. She is class president, runs her school’s civil rights team, is captain of the cheerleading squad, is dating the quarterback, and is a straight A student. During a practice without mats, she falls, and hits her head. She has a concussion, and memory loss. Her best friend, Zak Johnson, tries desperately to bring her memory back, but starts to like the new Phoenix. She’s fallen in love with him, and dumped her boyfriend, Brody Young. She starts a new sport, soccer, the same sport Zak plays, and her true self comes out. She’s still a straight A student, she’s just forgotten who she is, and what her old life was like. She loves her new life, and is slowly learning about her old life. The more she learns, the more she hates herself. Zak makes her feel batter though. One day, Brody snaps, and goes on a mental rampage. He attacks the school with a gun, and an army of other students. The phone lines were cut, and all students who attempted 911, were stabbed or shot to death. Phoenix was shot in the abdomen, Zak in the shoulder, and Phoenix’s best friend, Faithe Wilson, is stabbed in the abdomen. Zak’s best friend is stabbed in the back, killing him when he attempts 911. Brody is finally brought down by Zak. He is not killed, just stunned and paralyzed, and put in jail. Phoenix suddenly remembers everything, and has to come over her conflicting emotions. She realizes if Brody had truly loved her, he wouldn’t have gone so crazy when she dumped him. She knew that she loved Zak, and chose him.

Story 2

Pippa Smith, a seventeen year old guitarist, is dating the quarterback of her high school

Invisible Circus, The (2001) IMDB rating: 5.50 Plot: In 1975, at age 18, Phoebe is unhappy. When she was about 10, her father died of leukemia; her older sister Faith became a political radical, left for Europe with her boyfriend Wolf, and commits suicide in Portugal a year later. Phoebe, who has romantic ideas about both her father and Faith, decides to trace Faith’s steps, find Wolf, and learn what really happened. She finds Wolf in Paris, and he tells her stories of Faith’s radical activities, including joining the Red Army in Berlin. Phoebe has visions of her sister, seems close to madness, and may be headed for suicide herself. It’s the trip to the cliffs of Portugal that will make the difference: breakthrough or breakdown?

Is my writing style any good?
I’ve written the prologue of a book I am considering writing. I need to know if I am crap, reasonable, half way decent or anything above that.

Having read what’s below, would you turn the page the read more? The book is going to be about a serial killer who kills people that most of us would want killed anyway. It will hopefully be dark and gripping. It won’t be full of violence like Train Spotting – but it is a book about murder so there has to be some descriptive violence in it. So – here goes.

Hmm I like the first one the most, because of thy style.
I don’t like the one below because the bow looks silly.
And I don’t like others because of the way they flare out, it looks really 40s and super mature for your age.
I love the bottom color and think it would look gorgeous on you because of you’re eyes, hair, and skin tone, but I don’t like the way that one flares out either.
I think you should find something a little more fun, like the first dress, in that style, but find a color that compliments you better, like blue.. I mainly suggest that to bring out your eyes.

Critique my story about a runaway angel?
I have never been the perfect little angel that my mother always wanted me to be. Being a guardian angel made my mother so proud, until she realized that I did not want to do it. Everyone thinks that angels are suppose to be perfect, selfless, filled with undying compassion and love. Though actually I am quite similar to any mortal 16 year old girl. I
